Courage

colorful and blind to ignorance
inclined to speak loudly in small places
we whisper in the crowd

justice knows not the sunlight
warmth can never touch the muddy waters
dreams do oblige the stint

in desperation --
tensions build and the cords snap
life outweighs its enemies
